About KittyCorner

KittyCorner is an independent educational website dedicated to helping cat owners understand their animals better. We publish detailed profiles of 100 cat breeds and a growing library of more than 100 guides on feline behavior, nutrition, health and everyday care — available in English, Spanish, German, French and Portuguese.

How our content is made

Every article starts from a question real cat owners ask — why does my cat bite my ankles, is it safe to feed eggs, what does a twitching tail mean. We research each topic against published veterinary and behavioral literature, breed standards from major cat registries, and the practical experience of long-time cat keepers, then write it in plain language that does not require a veterinary degree to follow. Every article has a named writer — see our writers for who's behind each guide.

Our content is educational and general in nature. It never replaces an examination by a licensed veterinarian, and articles that touch on health always say so. When we get something wrong, we want to know: corrections sent to our email are reviewed and fixed.

Why "KittyCorner"?

KittyCorner is the publication name; it's published and run by Feline Logic (felinelogic.com). We wanted one calm corner of the internet where the answer to a cat question is complete, honest about uncertainty, and free to read. Advertising keeps the site free; it never influences what we write.
